Join Our Exciting 6-Week D.I.P. Club for Students in Grades 3-12

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our 6-week D.I.P. Club for students in grades 3-12 at Artisan ABQ. This program will run from February 1 to March 8. Late registration and drop-in students are welcome too. Send me a message for the adjusted rate.

What is the D.I.P. Club?

The D.I.P. Club is designed to engage students in creative and interactive activities. Participants will explore various color art mediums, develop new skills, and make lasting friendships. Each week will feature unique themes and projects that encourages art skills and development, with self-expression.

Weekly Themes and Activities

Each week of the D.I.P. Club will focus on a different theme. Here’s a sneak peek at what we have planned:

• Week 1: Feb. 1-Introduction to Creativity -Water Marbling

Students will learn the basics of Water Marbling, using acrylic paints

• Week 2: Feb. 8-Art and Expression-Watercolors

This week, we will experiment with painting, paint resist, and printing

• Week 3: Feb. 15-Science and Innovation -Acrylic Paints/Pouring Techniques

Participants will engage in hands-on science experiments. They will learn about the scientific method and how to innovate solutions to everyday problems.

• Week 4: Technology and Design-Tie Dying

Students will explore the world of tie-dyeing. They will learn about dying design and dye applications.

• Week 5: Painting and Storytelling -Oil Painting

This week will focus on storytelling through painting. Students will have the opportunity to create a story through their compositions

• Week 6: Line Work-Ink Sketching

  Ink sketching is a popular form of drawing that utilizes ink as the primary medium. This technique allows artists to create detailed and expressive illustrations.
