Located at the Barelas Community Center. Engage in a world of clay with 6 ceramic classes filled with creative hand-building. Students will learn building skills, tools, finishing styles, and discover the science of clay, while making fun & functional art. Ceramic students will have an opportunity to experience a pottery wheel. All grade levels are welcome. The Barelas Community Center requires parents to be a Community Member and stay for the class duration. Parents must fill out an activities waiver before students can participate. Participants must cancel with a minimum of 24 hour notice to receive a credit for a missed session.
